  • Do you have a coupon?
  • Do you provide personal products, or should I bring my own?

    Our biodegradable and proudly Mexican bathroom amenities include:

    Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel

    Liquid hand soap

    If you plan to bring your own products, we ask that they be biodegradable and chemical-free.



  • Do you provide sheets?

    Of course! Your bed will be ready from the moment you check in. Each bed is equipped with:

    A cotton fitted sheet and a plain sheet

    One or two pillows (depending on the configuration requested)

    A cotton duvet with a medium-temperature polyester filling.

    A queen-sized fleece blanket (in winter)

    Sheets and towels are changed once per stay (unless otherwise requested)


  • What are the bathrooms like? Are they shared? Where are they? Is there hot water?

    The bathhouse is centrally located for easy access from each Kúuchil and the common areas. Each Kúuchil is between 10 and 30 meters from the bathroom. The bathhouse has a men's and women's section. Each section is equipped with two toilets, two showers, and two sinks. The showers have hot and cold water and 100% natural, biodegradable, and proudly Mexican amenities.

  • What are the food options? Are they included in my reservation?

    Your reservation includes a continental breakfast. This breakfast is delivered in a basket directly to your Kúuchil every morning between 7 and 8 am and includes:

    Chiapas State Coffee Service (includes clay cups, sugar, sugar substitute, and powdered creamer)

    Individual portion of sweet bread from the region

    A glass of fruit juice per person

    One serving of fresh seasonal fruit per person

    Eating utensils

    Hot breakfasts and other catering services can be arranged in advance at an additional cost. All additional catering services will be served at La Palapa.

    Although we don't have a formal store, we try to keep basic items like toothbrushes, sanitary pads, snacks, and more accessible. Ask our staff about purchasing them, and please note that these items are only available for cash payment in Mexican pesos.


    If you don't pre-order food, we most likely won't have hot food available.


    IMPORTANT: Due to the power outage, Mama Loo.mm is unable to store meals and/or food or beverages brought by guests.




  • Can I purchase food, drinks, or snacks on the property?

    We offer a set menu of both hot breakfasts and prepared meals that changes daily and can be ordered prior to your arrival. Please contact us to arrange this, as these services have an additional cost that must be covered before your arrival.


    We don't sell beverages on the property, but you'll find purified water at La Palapa to refill your favorite water bottle.


  • Can I bring alcoholic beverages?

    While bringing alcoholic beverages is not prohibited, we do remind you that you will be in the jungle, sharing the space with the region's native species, and we recommend keeping your five senses alert so you can enjoy the experience without any setbacks.

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check in is at 3 pm and check out at 11 am.


    In order to provide the best possible service, we ask our guests to provide their arrival time at the property. Please contact us if you absolutely need to arrive at Mama Loo.mm after 6 p.m.


    Early check-in and late check-out subject to availability.


  • Why am I limited to entering the property no later than 6 pm?

    The sun sets at approximately 6 pm each night, and the property goes completely dark. Therefore, if this is your first day at the property, you'll want to visit while it's still sunny so you can easily find your way around. If you absolutely must arrive after 6 pm, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate your arrival.

  • Can I bring my pet?

    No, we have animals on the property that are accustomed to protecting visitors and residents, therefore, for the safety of your pet, they are not allowed. However, service animals are allowed. Documentation showing their need and training is required, as well as a leash requirement at all times, and prior written approval of their arrival.


    We ask that service animals sleep on the floor and be supervised at all times during their visit.



  • Is there electricity? Will I be able to charge my cell phone?

    Mama Loo.mm is an "off-the-grid" property, meaning we don't have electricity. If you want to use your cell phone as a camera, we suggest bringing power banks with you so you can recharge them.

  • Is there Wi-Fi and/or cell phone signal?

    There's no cell phone or Wi-Fi service on the property, nor is there any TV or cable service. Cell phone service is sometimes available near the main entrance, but we invite you to take advantage of your visit to Mama Loo.mm to disconnect from technology and immerse yourself in your experience with nature.

  • Can I bring my children?

    All children are welcome. Each Kúuchil has a maximum capacity of four people, and we have two family Kúuchiles with a maximum capacity of six people. One is an extra-large yurt in which all six people will be under the same roof, and the other is a separate yurt with two queen beds and a teepee with a queen bed.

  • What is included with my reservation?

  • Is there anything NOT included in my reservation?

    Any activity or service not detailed in your reservation, such as a temazcal, massage, or any of the other activities mentioned in the corresponding section, has an additional cost.


    IMPORTANT: Please note that any activity or service not previously arranged will be subject to availability and must be paid for in cash and Mexican pesos.


  • Can I bring my own tent and set it up myself? What about my RV?

    We want your glamping experience to be the best possible and everything to be ready and waiting for your arrival. Therefore, personal tents are NOT permitted. We also do not have hookups or RV space available.



  • Is smoking allowed on the property?

    Smoking is not permitted in or near the yurt at your Kúuchil. For your convenience and that of other visitors, there are designated smoking areas.

  • Can I start my own campfire?

    No, campfires are only allowed in the provided stone circles and must be handled by our staff. Each evening, the campfire at your Kúuchil will be lit by our staff for your convenience.


    Please refrain from burning any material in the fire pits other than the wood provided by us for this purpose.


  • Is there a safe for my valuables?

    No, we do not have a safe. We suggest you keep your valuables, such as money, jewelry, cameras, passports, etc., with you at all times.

  • Is there a store or stand where I can purchase personal items on the property?

    Although we don't have a formal store, we try to keep basic items like toothbrushes, sanitary pads, snacks, and more accessible. Ask our staff about purchasing them, and please note that these items are only available for cash payment in Mexican pesos.


    We recommend that you bring any medicine, insect repellent, and/or eco-friendly sunscreen or personal protective equipment you may need.


    We ask that if you plan to use sunscreen, make sure it's environmentally friendly and that you apply it at least 20 minutes before using the pool.


  • Should I take my trash with me when I leave?

    No, we provide trash receptacles in your Kúuchil and in common areas. Please deposit your trash in these, and our staff will process it properly.

  • Is there parking? Is there a fee? Is it close to my glamping site?

    Yes, each Kúuchil has a designated space for one car in the property's parking area. This area is near the main entrance to Mama Loo.mm and not near your Kúuchil. There is no separate parking fee.


    If you need space for more than one car, please contact us to discuss the possibilities.


  • Is Mama Loo.mm accessibility recommended for someone with mobility limitations?

    Due to the nature of the property and our commitment to keeping it as natural as possible, it is not recommended for people with mobility limitations.

  • What is a Kúuchil? What is a yurt?

    Kúuchil means space in the Mayan language of the region. Yurta is your "room" or tent. Your yurt is within your space, or Kúuchil.

    17.9 km from Leona Vicario - 10 min approx depending on traffic.

    113 km from Tulum - approximately 1:30 hrs depending on traffic.

    178 km from Chichén Itza - approximately 2 hours depending on traffic.

    279 km from Merida, Yucatan. - Approximately 5 hours depending on traffic.


    You can arrive by private or rented car, private airport shuttle service (please agree on the price BEFORE boarding the vehicle), or public transportation.


    We are located 1 km from the SELVATICA zip line park and 300 meters from XTREME ADVENTURE. If you're coming from Puerto Morelos, look for the property on the right with the colorful bougainvillea flowers on the wall. If you're coming from Leona Vicario, Chichén Itza, we'll be on your left. The entrance is on the side of the road.


    IMPORTANT: Approximately 3 minutes after entering the Puerto Morelos to Leona Vicario highway, the cell phone signal will be lost and your maps app will most likely not connect to the satellite either.
