Kuuchil
It means space in the Mayan language of the region. The sounds of nature invite us to stop, to pause our daily lives, to take a moment to meditate and reflect on what we want. Immerse yourself in nature and fall asleep to the sounds of leaves falling on the walls of your yurt or in the hammock of your own kúuchil. Nature and glamour dance together in our kúuchiles, equipped with your comfort as our top priority.
Double Kúuchil
The double-occupancy yurts (maximum 2 people) at Mama Loo.mm offer a cozy retreat connected to nature. Inside, you'll find a comfortable queen-size air bed, elevated and dressed with soft cotton sheets and fluffy duvets to ensure your rest. There's also a small armchair ideal for relaxing. Outside the yurt, you'll find outdoor chairs to enjoy the surroundings, a hammock perfect for an al fresco nap, and your own fire ring with firewood included, ready for those magical nights under the stars.
Quadruple Kúuchiles
The Quadruple Yurts at Mama Loo.mm are perfect for groups or families (maximum 4 people), offering double the comfort with two lofty queen-size airbeds, both dressed with premium cotton sheets and soft duvets. To enjoy the outdoors, you'll have outdoor chairs, a relaxing hammock, and your own fire ring with firewood ready, creating the perfect ambiance for memorable nights under the stars. Listening to the sounds of nature is an incredible experience.
Familiar 1
The Family 1 option (maximum occupancy of 6) at Mama Loo.mm is designed to offer spaciousness and comfort to groups or families, combining the best of both worlds. It includes a quadruple yurt featuring two lofty queen-size airbeds, dressed with soft cotton sheets and cozy duvets. This family space is complemented by an adjacent tipi (conical tent), which houses a lofty queen-size airbed, perfect for adding an extra touch of adventure and privacy. Outside, the shared area offers outdoor chairs, a relaxing hammock for enjoying the natural surroundings, and a fire ring with firewood included, ideal for creating unforgettable memories under the stars.
Familiar 5
The Family 5 option at Mama Loo.mm redefines glamping for large groups, offering a spacious and comfortable experience in a maxi yurt. This exceptional accommodation features three high queen-size air beds, each dressed with soft cotton sheets and fluffy duvets, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone. Outside, the space is designed for conviviality and enjoying nature, with outdoor chairs, a relaxing hammock, and your own fire ring with firewood included, perfect for creating unforgettable moments under the stars.
What your stay includes
- In your Kúuchil you will find:
- A 4 x 4 x 2.30 meter high (12.33 square meters) yurt, it's water-resistant and has three large windows with mosquito netting. The door also has mosquito netting, allowing for unrestricted airflow.
- Two chairs handmade by regional artisans in Salam wood and a table measuring 30 cm x 30 cm x 70 cm high.
- Fire pit in a circle of local stone and enough firewood for your stay.
- A bucket of water, a bucket of sand and a fire extinguisher as a preventive measure against fire.
- A single-sized hammock from the region.
- A guide to LED solar lights.
- Each area of Kúuchil measures approximately 7.5 meters in diameter.
- For your comfort, your yurt has:
- A queen-size high air bed (1.5 m x 2.03 m x 0.45 cm high) with 2 pillows and a medium-temperature polyester-filled cotton duvet.
- An inflatable armchair with a small side table
- A guide to battery-powered and dimmable LED lights
- A small hand lamp
- A nightstand with a lamp next to the bed
- A battery-powered fan
- Area rugs, foot rugs, and entrance rugs (indoor and outdoor)
- A throw-style blanket
- For each guest in the yurt you will receive:
- One bath towel, one glass per person (one bottle of water for every 2 people)
- Continental breakfast
We have 5 Kúuchiles of a yurt:
- 4 with maximum capacity for 2 people (1 queen bed).
- 1 with maximum capacity for 4 people (2 queen beds).
In addition, we have 2 family-sized Kúuchiles with a maximum capacity for 6 people:
Familiar 1:
4-person yurt with 2 queen-size beds and an additional 2-person teepee with 1 queen-size bed.
Familiar 5:
Extra large yurt for 6 people with 3 queen size beds.
Note: Sheets and towels are changed once per stay, unless otherwise requested.
